Mr. Mukhtar Babayev, head of Azerbaijan-Japan Working Group on Inter-parliamentary Relations of the Milli Mejlis visited Japan

Mr. Mukhtar Babayev, member of the Milli Mejlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, head of Azerbaijan-Japan Working Group on Inter-parliamentary Relations of the Milli Mejlis and Mr. Kamran Nabizade, member of the Milli Mejlis and Azerbaijan-Japan Working Group visited Japan on October 17-18, 2016.During the visit Azerbaijani Parliamentarians met with Mr. Motome Takesawa, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr. Akira Amari, member of House of Representatives, Chairman of Japan-Azerbaijan Inter-parliamentary Friendship League, Mr. Tadashi Shimura President of JATA and Mr. Hidetoshi Iregaki Vice-President of JICA.At the meetings, the Azerbaijani and Japanese sides discussed the development of bilateral relations, and strengthening of cooperation in the sphere of economic, tourism, education, agriculture, aviation, human resources and culture. The both sides also emphasized the importance of cooperation between the parliaments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Japan.
