Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Japan were held in Tokyo
On November 21, 2019 Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Japan were held in Tokyo. Azerbaijani delegation was headed by Mr.Ramiz Hasanov Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Japanese delegation was led by Ambassador Hideki Uyama, Deputy Assistant Minister of Japan, Deputy Director-General of European Affairs Bureau and Special Representative for Central Asia, Caucasus and GUAM. During the consultations both sides praised the course of high-level bilateral political dialogue. Mr.Hasanov and Mr.Uyama discussed a wide range of issues on the Azerbaijan-Japanese bilateral political agenda, exchanged views on the further expansion and deepening of cooperation in trade, economic, tourism, transport and other fields. In the course of the consultations the sides also exchanged views on a number of issues of regional and international arena, including Armenia – Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh Conflict.
