During the meeting, Ambassador Farid Talibov provided information on the political and institutional foundations of Azerbaijan-Japan relations, including the importance of contacts between the Milli Majlis and the Japanese Parliament, and emphasized the important role of the Azerbaijan-Japan Interparliamentary Working Group operating in the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Japan-Azerbaijan Friendship League existing in the Japanese Parliament in the development of relations.
